What is Bitumen - An Overview
Bitumen is made from Crude Oil. It is a substance which is manufactured from crude petroleum in the last stage of its distillation process. Hydrocarbons of various molecular weight form crude petroleum. Later the material is treated as well as blended on different stages to create bitumen.
Bitumen is a viscous, solid or semi-solid dark-colored pigment which is available in different forms like tar, rock asphalt and bitumen procured from oil.
